Wayne Gates, MD, FACS

Otolaryngologist

Dr. Gates has called Harrisonburg home since 1985, when he moved here from New Orleans, LA, upon the completion of his medical residency at Louisiana State University. Dr. Gates is Board Certified in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is a voting member of Harrisonburg’s Sentara RMH Medical Center’s Medical Advisory Committee and Board Subcommittee. Dr. Gates has served on many committees at RMH including the Board of Directors. He has also served as president of the Virginia Society of Otolaryngology. Dr. Gates also currently serves as the Medical Director of the Sentara RMH Medical Center/James Madison University Collaborative Voice and Swallowing Services.

Donna D. Gates, LME

Master Esthetician

Donna Gates brings a background in Surgical Technology from Southern Baptist Hospital in New Orleans, LA, to her current role as a Master Aesthetician with Meadowcrest ENT. Donna graduated as a Master Esthetician from Esthetic Institute in Vienna, VA and Dermal Science International in Reston, VA. She and Dr. Gates have worked together since the opening of his practice in 1985.

Kristin Quesenberry, M.S., CCC-A

Audiologist

Kristin Quesenberry has been part of the Meadowcrest ENT team since 2009. She graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and a minor in Gerontology. She received her Master’s Degree in Audiology from James Madison University. Kristin grew up with close relatives whose hearing loss developed in her a deep compassion and care for audiology. She is trained in Sign Language, the third most common language in the U.S.

Derek J. Robinson, MD

Otolaryngologist

Dr. Robinson joined Meadowcrest ENT in June 2014. He came to us from five years at the University of Virginia as an intern and resident doctor in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, and is Board Certified in Otolaryngology. Dr. Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and his MD from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Dr. Robinson’s professional interests include pediatric and adult ear, nose and throat disorders, head and neck disease, and ear and sinus problems. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and various outdoor activities.
